Clean Stream Environmental Consultants cc (CSEC) is an established environmental consultancy based in Pretoria. CSEC specialises in the environmental management field focussing on Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management Programme Applications; Integrated Water Use Licence Applications; Basic Assessments; Scoping and Environmental Impact Reports; Waste Licence Applications; Applications for the rectification of unlawful listed activities; Environmental Management Programme compliance auditing / performance assessments; compliance auditing of water and waste management systems in terms of legislative requirements; rehabilitation planning, design and implementation; as well as providing environmental management services on site for a number mines and industries. Position available: Post 1: Junior Environmental Scientist:
CSEC is seeking to employ an environmental consultant, based in Pretoria. Candidates must be in possession of at least a B.Sc. Honours Degree (4 year degree). Preference will be given to an applicant demonstrating between 1 - 2 years proven experience in a related field. Excellent report writing skills are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for report writing and compilation. Candidates with experience of environmental management in the mining industry will receive preference.

Position available: Post 2: Environmental Scientist / Senior Environmental Scientist:
CSEC is seeking to employ a senior environmental consultant, based in Pretoria. Candidates must be in possession of at least a B.Sc. Honours Degree (4 year degree) and a minimum of 2 – 5 years proven experience in a related field. Excellent report writing skills are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and oversight of projects as well as report writing and compilation. Candidates with experience of environmental management in the mining industry will receive preference.

Salary:
The salary range for applicants depends on the applicant’s qualifications, the quality of the applicant’s experience and its relevance to environmental impact assessment work.
